Graham Hancock: I traced the Human Story (48 min)

This video for me was an amazing journey. I fundamentally disagree (from personal experience) with a couple of his explanations but bottom line I can put it down to semantics. Everybody needs to listen to these “explanations” by watching this video. Again, just totally amazing.

He is right. We have are past wrong so we have are present wrong. I like Graham. I don’t agree with everything, but he was one of the authors that got me started 10 years ago. Great video and post.

Yes this is why we are in so much trouble: we have the past wrong and it is impossible to understand “now” if you don’t know how we got here. Essentially the people of earth as a species suffer from a massive case of amnesia and yet proceed as if their problem did not exist, making it up as they go along. A sure recipe for disaster.

Those texts were written for a very good reason. They didn’t have Twitter and Fakebook in those days, not did they have tablets, iphones or android phones to write gag-me fake news day in, day out. I think that people in those “ancient” days were much more intelligent overall than we are. I’ve just deleted about 25 emails with all kinds of strident headlines, like Hilary C linked to pedophile networks, Russian hacking election… on and on… as nauseam and you know who’s guilty of spreading fake news? ME. Me, for reading that crap then thinking about it. What’s it all about, finally? Apart from massively repetitive and bad gossip, it’s about trying to hide from the things we should be thinking about in order to “arm” ourselves to deal with them when the chickens come home to roost. We need to deal with climate change, and the spread of wars that must ultimately lead to a very serious confrontation between world powers. We need to deal with the real problems of endemic poverty and famine – find answers. To do that we need to go way back over our history, or histories, and not just see the patterns, but learn from people who knew things we relegate to the garbage bin of “myth.” You can fix ignorance but you can’t fix stupidity. I think that this, our, civilization has gone into “total STUPID mode” and the red light is flashing.

It all done on purpose. Most of it is about polarizing people to control them. Yes there are problems in the world than need to be dealt with, but they really don’t want them fixed. They want everyone in a state of fear and anxiety. I show how they do this and what we can do about it in my Magic post. If your willing to learn something new check it out.

Devil’s advocate here. The true conspiracy is how all these talking heads get so many people to waste so much time listening to how stupid or wrong or unenlightened and ultimately doomed they are because they don’t know shit, or have only been introduced to it. When they could be creating or enjoying themselves doing all sorts of stupid human things. Tell me, exactly, how this is any different from spending 48 minutes listening to a priest or a rabbi or a holy man telling you what you missed last week and all the holes in your education and perception and soul are going to cause you to rot in a hell of your own making. You want this in the humor version?Listen to the “Frenchmen” tell all of us Judeo Christian white people on a vision quest to discover truth and God and acquire the moral high ground how stupid we are. I mean, while we’re wasting time being insulted by another talking head anyway. Why not, right?
